For KEKE

I am here. For a while now but I'll just pretend it is brand new and that is the reason I have accomplished nearly nothing.

I am following in the footsteps of a great friend, great comedic spirit and real tall girl. Keke Verde.

So while blogging has always seemed to me to be the ultimate form of narcissism: telling the world whatever it is that you think , no matter how asinine or self involved, the truth is narcissism can feel real good. In a world of Facebook and Blackberrys Twitter and ....(I'm sure I'm missing out on others here....) sometimes a person just wants to talk in more than 30 characters, have a complete thought without an abbreviation, and not be allowed to read a reply for at least a moment.

The fact that I have moved and left my friends, become unemployed for the first time in my adult life, and had time to think think think about what I think, has left me sure of a few things.

1)People are just funny animals and New Yorkers ( Brooklynites to be specific) are a funny little animal kingdom of their own.

2)Keke will burn me at the stake for failing to use this time for something self indulgent and providing an update .

And so it will be : No drama, no politics, no deep thoughts or deep anything really.

Just a 'lil fun.
